NurseNFire CPR ("NurseNFire," "we," "us," or "our") is owned and operated by Sam San Martin, doing business as NurseNFire CPR, based in Riverside, California. Please read this Disclaimer carefully. It applies to our website and to every course we teach.
Educational Purpose Only
Our courses and website are for training and educational purposes. The information we provide, in class or online, is not medical advice and should not be used as a substitute for the judgment of a licensed healthcare provider or for professional emergency care.
In an Emergency, Call 911
Skills learned in our courses are meant to support life-saving action until professional help arrives. They do not replace emergency medical services. In a real emergency, always call 911 first.
Scope of Certification
The skills you learn in Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid, such as CPR and rescue breathing, can be used to help another person in an emergency, including outside a hospital setting. Certification confirms that you completed the training. It does not make you a medical professional.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications are knowledge-based certifications. They are **not** professional licenses and do not authorize you to perform any procedure, administer any medication, or act outside the scope of practice of your existing license or job. For example, completing ACLS or PALS does not, by itself, authorize you to intubate a patient or give medications. These courses are intended to build and reinforce the knowledge that supports providers in their current advanced healthcare roles.
You are responsible for practicing only within the scope of your own training, license, and workplace authorization.
Certification Is Issued by the AHA
Certifications are issued by the American Heart Association through our affiliated Training Center, not directly by NurseNFire CPR. We submit completed courses for certification, but we do not control the AHA's standards, materials, or issuance process.
No Guarantee of Outcomes
We teach the material thoroughly and give you the tools to succeed. We cannot, however, guarantee that any participant will pass a course, retain the skills, or achieve any particular result. Outcomes depend on your own participation, effort, and application of the material.
Physical Activity and Assumption of Risk
Our courses involve physical activity, including chest compressions, kneeling, and hands-on practice on manikins. By participating, you confirm that you are physically able to take part, and you accept the ordinary risks that come with this kind of activity. If you have any health condition that could be affected, please consult your doctor before enrolling and let your instructor know.
Third-Party Links
Our website may link to third-party sites, such as social media platforms or our pre-course work provider. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of those websites.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, NurseNFire CPR and its owner are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your participation in a course, your reliance on any information we provide, or your use or misuse of any skill learned. You assume full responsibility for how you apply what you learn.
